You may want a more formal treatment as shown here. It consists of a Swag Pair with a Valance in between and a full length Panel underneath. As another option, in a narrower window, you could eliminate the in between Valance and just use the Swag Pair or a One Piece Swag. If you use two Panels you could tie them back to each side for a totally different style. Also, a Priscilla look could be created by using a second Panel underneath the first Panel and tying them back to opposite sides.The possibilities are endless. Add your own additions to window valances you�ve purchased, such as hems, ribbons, or fringe to bring some of your own style into a room. Consider purchasing different types of curtain valances and mixing and matching�try hanging two at once to achieve a unique look. Choose either a double curtain rod that anchors to the wall under the curtains, or a spring curtain rod for ease and convenience.
