WASHINGTON -- From "The Naked City" to "In A Lonely Place" and "Oklahoma!" the Library of Congress is adding 25 more classic American films to its national registry.

All while fighting off the advances of his then-teenage mother.Mills eventually bows to pressure from ex-wife Lenore (Janssen) and grants his daughter permission to visit Paris with best friend Amanda (Cassidy).* "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," 1977, an intelligent sci- fi film in which the climactic scene is set at Devil's Tower National Monument in Wyoming.Bloom's involvement represents a departure of sorts from the template set in New Orleans, where all the presenters were wedding filmmakers. Bloom, who runs production company Some Like it Shot, has been shooting, directing, and editing documentaries and short films around the world for 20 years. Independent filmmakers like Bloom, Jones says, "have a lot to offer our industry from the technical side and with storytelling. They can help us develop a signature look, and save us time and money in getting the right tools in hand." Having a filmmaker of Bloom's reputation will also help Re:Frame attract film students to the notion of event video as a viable career path. All of which is not to say that Re:Frame's goal is to turn wedding videographers into indie feature filmmakers; Re:Frame is emphatically wedding-focused.
